This game is simply THE best point and click adventure game I have ever played!
The story, the music, the graphics (even the earlier parts) and that fuzzy feeling you get when playing!
Monkey Island rocks!

You simply cannot mention adventure or puzzle games without giving this series its due.
The storyline is amazing, the gameplay is challenging and fun, the scenery and realism was unprecedented. This is a world that you can get immersed in, spending hours in a blissful exercise of the eyes, cranium, and index finger.

These games created point-and-click gaming, which lead to everything else. The Quest for Glory series was one of the first games with graphics, starting with text commands and moving to cursor commands. Not only this, but each game had its own distinct personality and story. The first is set in the Black Forest, the second in Arabia, the third in Africa, the fourth in Slavic states and the last in Greece. The games then have traditional folklore in addition to creatures that they created.
The game play is innovative even today. The characters are all distinct and have their own personality. The games had a bit of nonlinearity in that you could choose which sort of player you would like to be and how to solve puzzles. It has a wonderful combination of puzzles, adventuring, talking and combat. They had 4 different classes: thief, wizard, warrior and paladin. Their is a wonderful sense of humor, which include the unforgettable Awful Waffle and allusions to Dr. Cranium.

Quest for Glory is the best because although the games are so old, they are still as fun and entertaining as ever.

I like Myst, but I like Zork more. First of all you don't have to do everything TWICE just so you can go get both the red and blue pages, and you can't skip to the end by knowing the password to get the white page.
Zork is a better series, and it tells a better story than Myst (Help my dad put me in a book!). Plus the music is better!
Besides Nemesis, there's also Grand Inquisitor which is a hilarious spoof of adventure games in general, with the great hero AFGNCAAP!
Who can beat Zork? If you think you can, I suspect you are nothing but a flathead, who will soon be eaten by a grue!

I loved this game. It was engaging without violence, challenging without being overly difficult, and interesting without being unbelievable. Kudos for Secret Files 1 and I can't wait for Secret Files 2 to be released here in the USA!
