I'm going to venture to say that, as far as living beings, it has more to do with energy and vibration. I believe there is such a thing as "positive" and "negative" energy, and not necessarily related to "good" or "bad," but more to do with expansiveness and growth, + , (positive) versus retraction/contraction, - , (negative). The positive is "giving," with energy moving outward...and the negative is "yeilding" and receptive, with energy moving inward.

Both are necessary for life, the yin and yang, and in fact, as an example...negative ions are known to lift your spirits and promote health. "Taking in" negative ions is what we do when we are in a pine forest or near the ocean. Being near the ocean is often recommended for patients with lung ailments, because the negative ions in the air promotes better lung functioning and makes us feel much better. Studies have also been done that correlate the lung area (and chakra) with emotions.

However, as was mentioned, plants have no nervous system. So, I think it has more to do with energy and chemistry, in the case of plants...as opposed to "feelings." They may "respond" to both positive and negative energy on a chemical and/or molecular level, but not "emotionally."

Yes, plants do have feelings. If you were to play music such as Mozart they grow bigger and better and much healthier. Also, if you were to hold a pair of siccors in your hand they freak out before you even cut them. It's been shown by a computer how this line spikes up.

yeah they do because it has been prooven time and time again that the same plants under the same conditions grow better, faster and with more flowers when they are subjected to sweet music as oppsed to silence

I dont think they have feelings as in "emotions" such as excited, shocked, repulsed, empathy, hate etc! I belive they react to certain things in a positive way if good...such as if something stimulates it it has a reaction! ~~~It doesnt make sense to say they have feelings ...but only certain kind of feelings~~~. Plants lack a nervous system/sensory system...which means they lack the ability to have human emotions all together if any type of feelings at all.

I do belive that they have the ability to react to certain type of stimuli. Weather it be the sun, water, music, humans or weather. I think it has a lot to do with vibration...if they are soothing or not! For example they found out that water reacts to certain stimuli when they froze it into crystals....as they did with plants and bacteria.

On a side note there is little to no evidence about this topic. There is no verified evidence and all the experiments into "plant preception" have no controlled conditions which makes the results unverifiable.

Nah, plants don't have feelings. I know cause I tell all the plants I can everyday how ugly and dumb they are and I trample their family right in front of them and they don't seem to care at all.

They do not have feelings such as living things do but they do react to certain stimuli

Denver...music is vibration and energy...perhaps they are responding to that, but it's a BIG stretch to think that they have feelings. That's like saying they have an opinion. Your indication is that one plant might grow more if it was exposed to the blues, as opposed to hip hop...and for another, it might be just the reverse.

Hmmm...would they be insulted if you came into the room and neglected to say hello? Would that hurt their feelings? Would they no longer "like" you, if they felt mistreated?
