No. People should be paid according to the laws of supply and demand. If the job is less desirable or more difficult, fewer people will want this job, and the pay for the job should go up to attract a sufficient number of capable individuals. Supply and Demand = efficiency. We might not like how resources get allocated, but its more efficient than unilaterally determining what someone "should" be paid.

Not all football players are very well paid,
In fact the basic salary in the majority of clubs is too low, for those who gets overpaid, well they are usually too famous, they bring loads of money by just being an image to their clubs, a good example for that is David Beckham, (who wasn’t as talented as many other players of his generation but still he was paid much more than ‘em)…
Also taking in consideration the marketing campaigns they do, ads, being a front image spokesmen of some organization… I think it’s only fair to make such money, it’s sounds very logical to me to have a decent percentage of that.

Yes People do not go to football games to watch the grass grow. They go to watch the players. without the players people would not buy tickets to go see the game

Yes, why not? There are lots of football fans in the whole world, well, whole world is a bit too much too say, cause in many countries there aren't the proper facilities for a normal soccer game in.. let's say Spain. My opinion is that the high salaries are the ones from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, because, honestly, I don't beleive that a good soccer player, who activates in, let's say England, in the European football, should get the same money as a Qatar football player just because a sheik went there and investated lots of money, because those players in the countries I've mentioned don't create as much show, spectacle as the ones playing in the European football.
So, yes, my answer is Yes, they should get paid a high ammount of money every week, because they deserve it, soccer is the most beloved soccer in Europe, but like I said, some of the salaries from the African, Asian continents are exagerated. That's my honest opinion.

the normal footballer gets paid 50k a week. this is wrong if anyone was gonna get paid that much a week it should be the marines or the police, firemen and people who work at hospital.

Of course they get paid too much, some of them are on nearly £200,000 per week. I find this insulting as people who actually do jobs eg. doctors have to go thousands in debt just to get their qualifications and they have to work hard with that. I find it wrong to have men that kick a ball around a field get so much money, in the majority there is no skill just look at the world cup! They do not deserve it, the money should be given to people with real skill and hard work.
