DO you think he should have been hanged? Isn't it unethical to hang somebody?

He should have been starved in prison. That way he suffers more. Hanging is way too quick.

Neither of which did hang him. The Iraqi government did.

I think it may have been a bit shortsighted to hang him. Despite my owns misgivings regarding capital punishment. I think that true justice would have been a life time imprisonment. Plus I would like there to have been a thorough investigation into ALL of his crimes, to have him stand trial on every atrocity he committed and for those investigations and trials to have been public.

Saddam hussien was a monster. the guy killed countless innocent people. so yes i think he deserved to die.

Hang on, which side is which?

I thought green side was the "he should NOT have been hanged" side.

Anyway, the usual argument: two wrongs don't make a right. Restitution, not retribution; put him to hard labor for the rest of his life and give the proceeds to his victims.
