i dont even know who mccane is but i bet anybody would be better then the same old government we have now. all they talk about is helping people and fixing things but once they get elected they dont do any of that stuff.

they just want to silence the voices by giving everyone just enough to get by and tell them it will get better soon. they cant silence every voice though. they cant silence me. i wont be another number in there files.

people need to make there voices heard. they need to get out and speak. if your going to vote, then vote for change and for freedom and individuality and for rights. maybe mccane is the one for the job.

McCain would not have made the mistakes list below, the economic would be much better. McCain would make some mistakes but minor ones. Ideally Obama should have had H. Client's job and would have been outstanding.
McCain would make mistakes too, but at least there be some wisdom to his decisions. When Obama speaks I feel like I'm watching the Onion (We're gonna eliminate the business cycle..oh really), (ObamaCare will not raise debit - on what planet), (Move terrorist trial to New York - how much did that cost to reverse the bad idea),(removing missile defense from Russia - and we and our allies gained what), (bowing to Saudi king - wow),(assuming the cop was being racist - probably he had bad information (he really needs to fire the people he brought in)), (government bailouts - too many), (lying about Republicians not help people with AIDS - see debate 2, he gives kudos to Bush for doing an excellent job on this), (absolute refusal to go to the center when - hey Bill could you give him some advice), (cash for clunkers - money down the toilet and creates shortage of cheaper cars for lower income people). (socialist agenda when america doesn't want that - why did he win then, american idol presidency)

We would have been better off without this narssisistic ego maniac going around the world telling everybody how great he is and is making us more like the wimps over in europe. Obama has this sociopathic narssism that makes him believe that he should be in charge of us all when in fact this guy has never had a real job in his whole life ( neither politics or community organizer count as a job , even a 4 year old can make a living out of complaining about how he is entitled to everything ). Lets vote this joke out of office in 2012.

McCain quote was bad sound bite - he was trying to encourage not ignore people who lost jobs. Your second sentence.....Not despite,,,,because (i.e. We're "still struggling" BECAUSE of "an (too) active government").

Hoover's administration is the opposite of laissez-faire (see wkipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Herbert_Hoover ) the government intervention LENGTHENS the depression back then and today.

Your obviously an idiot because you missed my main idea my point is not what jobs he had during his life but what he does. the guy goes around the world apoligizing for the u.s and passes huge bills that put us in this debt. He won't even ad,it he was wrong passing the huge bills blaming it all on Bush. ( intresting fact: Clinton passed the mortgage laws that sank the economy not Bush). Also by the way pgandal when i said he was a lwyer for two months i meant it as a hyperbole retard. Whata hyperbole means is that a said he was a lawyer for two months as an exadgeration what the meaning was is thet he was a lawyer for a short time. Theres a quick english lesson for you, you idiot.

Obviously you would try to punish my spelling. You can't silence everyone that doesn't agree with your mainstream points. Do you really expect me to see your side? Look where following the same old politicians has gotten us? People can't even get good water to drink in Africa.

Just because im younger than you doesn't mean im not mature enough to knwo how the world works or to make a difference. Im not embellshining. at least the people in korea or somalia don't have to deal politicians who lie and say that everything will change when nothing will change.

You can't just keep your head down and hope that everything will turn out alright. Its people like you that let these leaders stay in power all the time.

Sarah Palin would have shot the entire population of San Francisco with a rifle, while in a helicopter.

Why would you spell McCaine McCane when everyone else spelled it right?

And it certainly isn't true that anyone would be better than our same old government. We could have the government of North Korea for example. Or worse, the nonexistent government of Somalia. You're just embellishing.

Honestly i don't think the US would be any different because nothing major has gone on with health care and there have been few actions by Obama he has done a decent job with what he could have helped with but i voted worse because Sarah Palin doesn't know what she is talking about

(note: I think I know what the Mayans ment by 2012 end of the world Sarah Palin becoming president :( !!!!!!)

I wasn't punishing your spelling. That isn't even possible. I was just wondering why you did that. Is it on purpose? Was it a typo? It just seemed weird.

"at least the people in korea or somalia don't have to deal politicians who lie and say that everything will change when nothing will change."

I'm sorry, I just can't take you seriously or trust your maturity when you write sentences like this. North Koreans have actually shrunk because they are so malnourished. North Koreans, as a population, are getting shorter and appear to be getting smaller brains. And believe me, their politicians still lie to them, 1984 style. Somalians probably would cry if they could have the food we eat during Thanksgiving. Yeah, our system is hardly perfect or even great, but to say that Somalians are better off is either a horrid disregard for human suffering or ignorance.

And no, you can't keep your head down and hope that everything will turn out alright. Luckily, we live in, roughly, a democracy and can struggle to change stuff. But, also luckily, we have the ability to change for the better, not just change for the sake of change.

Why is everything with you "silence" this and "silence" that? You sound like a communist. You are blowing everything out of the water and creating drama. "At least the people in Korea or Somalia don't have to deal with politicians"...go live in Somalia and let me know how it works out for you.

Why would you talk about McCain and side with McCain if you didn't know who he was? You say that none of the politicians listen to you, but you don't even know who the Republican candidate for the United States presidency was. I think you're full of hot air.

McCain thought the fundamentals of our economy were good. Despite an active government, we're still struggling. Imagine a laissez-faire government that believes the fundamentals of the economy are good. Anyone remember Hoover's administration?

Although our current and past overlords haven't been without fault, there are many governments which would prove much worse. Iran comes to mind....

McCain's statement was a soundbite, but it's impossible to argue that Republicans are for smaller government and less activity by the government in the economy. So the point still stands.

The problem with the "active" government furthers a depression is, of course, that outside of the Chicago School of Economics no one buys it, it is illogical, and it lacks support in evidence. But, hey, why should logic and facts overturn ideology. (Hoover's passage of three half-hearted laws in an attempt to overturn the greatest economic crash in modern history hardly counts as "activist").
