I think they are definately willing to become a non-nuclear state. After they've depleted their store of nuclear weapons destroying South Korea and Japan.

The weird thing about the nuclear debate is that I think if you took a global poll today from all the worlds population asking whether nuclear weapons should all be dismantled they would all say yes.

The silly game of "you go first" that governments insist on playing is a game that has the potential to ruin alot of lives.

Why would they? The United States has TEN THOUSAND known nuclear weapons. (thats not counting the unknown ones) ... why would and why should any other country not keep one or two for themselves?

they'll disarm when the US does. think about it from their perspective. would the US disarm themselves after being told by another country? no.

As long as Kim Jong Il is still leading that country, I don't think that they will ever seriously consider disarming.
