ok. I can agree with that. The country has a slower pace on life.
-Another reason I think the country is better is because of this slower pace. Yes, many peoples opinion is a faster pace, but I agree with Vague, saying that it is actually probably more healthy in the country. I'll give some reasons.
-First, I've drove in the city, and it is no doubt a little stressful because of the fast pace. The country is slower, there is no real stress while driving. Stress is unhealthy.
-Second, there are more vehicle wrecks in the city. Many people will say that this is because there are more people in the city. This is not true. The reason there are more wrecks in the city is because there are so many people speeding down the road. Even the very slow traffic jams are easy targets for wrecks, because they go from 3 mph to 15 mph and then slam the brake back to 0 mph and continue the cycle. Thats why so many small fender benders occur in the city.
-Third, the city is more dangerous due to crime. This does have to do with the amount of people in the city. There are some crazy people in the country, but it doesn't add up like in the city. There are a lot of crazy people in the city, simply because there is a bigger population. All those crazy people do crimes, and are crazy enough to kill others. There are gangs that commit crimes, and do not only effect other gangs, but members of the normal society. In a shoot out between two gangs, the bullets are not contained, meaning that they can travel long distances and strike innocent civilians. I've seen it happen in a movie theater line. Everyone just though it was fire works, next thing you know, someone's leg is bleeding.
-Fourth and final, is pollution. There is pollution in the country, especially where I live, because I live next to a major paper mill, the biggest paper mill in the United States. It lets out a lot of chemicals and smoke. People from other small towns can easily tell that the pollution in my town is bad by simply breathing in the air. I have lived here my whole life, so this polluted air is completely normal to me. This is how I know I can prove that the city is badly polluted and unhealthy. I am so used to being around polluted air that I can breath it like normal, but when I go to a big city, I can instantly tell the difference in the air, being that the city is more polluted than what I'm used to! And this is remembering that I live next to the biggest paper mill in the United States! Literally, this paper mill is bigger than the town that is is located. It is huge! All that pollution coming out of that mill, and I can still notice the difference between it and the over polluted city.
