Okay, so a drunk conversation made me think about this (please note I'm not actually planning on doing this)

Okay, so everyone knows Area 51 actually does exist. Most people also know that there is a perimeter that, if breached, guards have orders to use deadly force. So, if (and seriously, only IF) you managed to round up 100,000 conspiracy theorists, Trekkies, alien fanatics, Sci-Fi lovers, and the likes and organize a march onto Area 51 so you could learn the the truth, what would they do? Assume that this group would contain UNARMED men, women, and children walking onto Area 51, and were also for some reason not afraid of getting shot, gassed, etc. Would the government and the military forces at Area 51 actually use deadly force on 100,000 people, or would they just be overwhelmed. ...what could they do with that many people?

Yeah, we already considered that would probably happen anyway. But in a perfect world, we were assuming that this mass of 100,000 people would have the element of surprise until the last minute...

"In a perfect world" refers to a hypothetical situation...
