One man's insurgent is another man's freedom fighter.

This is about perspective. For the people here in American that have been successfully trained to jump at the buzz word "commie", for those who have been succumbed to the constant subliminal attack on communism, for those who have used modern examples as a definition of communism Che Guevara was a villain.

For the well-fed, pampered, government aristocrat, who has had nothing but pleasure arise from the slavery of the people of South Africa, Che Guevara was a villain.

For the South American peasant who had been driven off his land by bourgeois landlords, who paid enormous taxes for the benefit of the plutocracy, who had become the wage-slave of the aristocracy, who has starved three days a week to raise a family, who had been in poverty all his life and saw no future any different for his children, who was given no way to vote for another set of leaders, who had no way of protesting this oppression, Che Guevara was a hero.

This government had prevented any kind of peaceful political process. It is inevitable that those who make peaceful political process impossible will be the victims of a violent political process. Che Guevara gave these people a way to fight, he gave them a way to stand up to the American-puppet-dictatorships of South America. And for that, the hope and freedom he gave those millions of people, and the people he still inspires, he is a hero.

I heard they made/are making a movie about Che that is about 5 hours long. Benecio Del Torro plays Che and he compared Che's character to none other than Christ.

hay hombres que luchan un dia y son buenos, hay otros que lucha un año y son mejores, hay quienes luchan muchos años y son muy buenos, pero hay los que luchan toda la vida eso son los imprecindibles

there are mans that fight a day and they are good, there are others that fight a year and are better, some fight many years and they are really good, but there are the ones that fight there whole lives those are the vital mans

words of a famous cuban singer, you can say he was a muderer but order so call heroes there murderes to, but what make Ernesto Che Guervara special is that he was a fighters some one that wanted the best for south america and the world, he was hurt but the extreme poverty and abuse that the people of the third world suffer, his ideas maybe wrong or not but he believe in does ideals, that was his way to save the world, he wanst like castro, he could stay in cuba and live a good live full but he continue fighting going to boliva and congo, tha spirit to change the world and determination is real heroism

The Argentinian son of a wealthy doctor and Cuban revolution hero was in my view, both hero and villain. His original intentions and ideology were sound but once in a position of power he became corrupt and meglomaniac

I have not read much about Che but the little that I have read painted a picture that I was not comfortable with. I heard about him presiding over public trials where he would decide whether or not to execute the hundreds of people that came before him.

I think Che has benefited from misdirected, or irrational, anti-Americanism. There are many people who believe that just because he fought against the crimes that America was committing in Latin America he should be revered as a hero. This is unfortunate. As I understand it he met murder and oppression with more murder and oppression. That doesn't make someone a hero in my book.

Ernesto "Che" Guevara has become an icon in this country. His image adorns t-shirts, posters, and other types of memoriblia. And yet, most people who have a Che Guevara T-Shirt have no idea who this man was, what he stood for, and what he did to accomplish it.

Che Guevara was a mass murderer plain and simple. He killed thousands of people just for disagreeing with his ideology. On top of that, he helped to spread a pernicious and deadly political ideology throughout South America. This is not a man that should be revered and idolized. This is a man who should be reviled and condemned.

I think they already made this movie. I think it came out a few months ago. And Benicio Del Toro is just another example of people's ignorance about Guevara. I just don't get it!

The man was a commie and didn't believe in God, he killed people and made other people kill people for him, he is only a hero to the devil.
