Excuse me, but scientist don't even know how magnetism works, much less "mastered" it.

Mar's iron core is solid. There is no molten core, which is what makes our magnetic core work for Earth. Most people are totally unaware of the benefits afforded us by Earth's magnetic field. As a result, pie in the sky propaganda is being heaped on the American public and the rest of the world, giving them the impression that settlement of Mars is possible. Even surviving underground on Mars is unlikely, because the cosmic and solar radiation is able to penetrate right down into the planet's surface. The power and affect of this combined radiation is not compatible with life, as we know it.

Don't get me wrong, man has tremendous capabilities for adaptation. But, on Mars, you'd have to live long enough to adapt. That's no going to happen in our lifetime.

scientists are just like us,humans so why put all the pressure on them and why do we need to know if there is life on mars anyway we're fine on earth????????????????

humans have pretty much mastered the science of magnetism
if a type of artificial magnetosphere was needed then Im guessing the scientists would engineer the dome to do that to
