Hum...it definitely can. If having things that you want makes you happy then money can buy you happiness.

The ultimate car....the coolest house.....the best parties!!!

I could care less what I own as long as I am healthy and content with life. Don't get me wrong having more money would definitely improve my life but then again.....i can be happy without it too.

Yes money does buy happiness. Imagine if you had nothing that was obtained from money. This would mean no clothes no luxuries and a lot of your basic needs wouldn't be met. Another thought to ponder upon is, think about what does make you happy. Already i can for tell someone thinking about there family and friends, but truly that can't be the only reason to be happy. If you are an intelligent person you could imagine that taking away everything that moneys has provided, you would NOT be happy.

Happiness is a state of being, or at least, I choose to describe it as thus. Money isn't the answer to every problem, nor is it the secret to a full and complete life. Though, one can easily spend money to obtain a luxury to improve their state of being...so....yes?

happiness is me and a hot girl on the beach in Hawaii
lets see, Im here in NE America, Im guessing maybe 2000 would get us there
without that 2000, Im here skateboarding waiting for warmer weather she's there working for dady mony bags, in a money spider web, making money but also ensnared into that which she derives her money from

money without the spider web is the key to happiness

Money may be able to purchase materialism happiness but it can not buy happiness of the mind, heart and soul. Nor can money buy true love between 2 persons

The question simply asks, "Can Money Buy Happiness?" Happiness is a emotional state of being. It is an intangible emotion. Therefore, money cannot buy it. Money, however, can afford material things that could bring happiness, but can in no way directly buy happiness.

Money cannot buy happiness because a person is always looking for something better, once you have money you will always be unsatisfied because they would want to make more. People are always challenging themselves and are always wanting more than what they have. So in all honesty, NO, money cannot buy happiness. There is more pressure to succeed and make more money and if you don't know how to spend your money or control your spending; money is just going to make your life more stressful. For example, it's like when you are getting paid $5 the hour and you want to get paid better and you get a raise to $8 once you have the raise you want to get another raise (because you are spending more since you think hey I'm getting so much more money now, what I couldn't afford I now can), once you have it, its like the magic is gone and you want something more that $8. Therefore, in conclusion, since people always change their minds about happiness and cannot ever be completely and utterly happy they cannot be happy with money. There could only be momentary happiness but not happiness that can last. True happiness lasts forever.

Money, itself, is nuetral. It can be used in all kinds of ways...for good and for evil.

No amount of money could ever "buy" your happiness, because happiness is found inside. You could have everything you want, materially, and still be miserable.

Some of the happiest people I have known in my life...have very little, materially...and yet, lead such rich lives. They are grateful for the gift of life, and what they have...and are generous with others. They're not keeping up with "the Jones's," and don't even lock their doors.

Most of us are never satisfied. If we make $100, 000, we think we won't be happy until we make $200, 000. Then $200, 000 is not enough...and so on. We place so much emphasis on material things (and money), that we often lack in spiritual fulfillment.

Money simply can not buy gratitude, nor peace of mind...and it can not buy your happiness.

Money could buy happiness, but no one sells it. So, "no."

Well, all right, Wal-mart sells it (they sell everything, right?) but it's their generic equate brand happiness and it doesn't actually feel like the real thing...

um... so, "no, you can't buy happiness."

no, money buy the tools that can possibly make you happy, but doesnt buy the happiness itself, beautiful emotions like happiness and love cannot be bought, because they belong to the soul, we have happiness to give and receive, but its not for sale.

No. Actually, happiness makes money. This is my opinion.
For example, if you want to buy a car, and you think it can make you happy, you are going to make money to buy the car. However, if there is someone who has never known happiness, they will not be happy even if they have money.

If you are under 40 you will probably believe that money is the answer to all of your problems and will provide a cloudless blue sky and smoothe sailing.

Guess what. You will I pray finally mature in your spirit and become someone with a certain amount of depth and realize that the pursuit of money has probably been the reason for your lack of happiness in your life.

Hey! no amount of money can buy my mind. People don't go to a gym or other "funny places" to get happiness, they go there to get in better physical shape.

Having money may increase your acceptance by most persons but no amount of money can buy you true love

true people might act like they like you but that doesnt mean that they are telling the truth they probably just want something that you have. sometimes people accept for the wrong reasons such as money!

No. Money may buy temporary happiness, but it can not buy a lasting happiness. The best way to be happy is to have a loving relationship with Jesus Christ. He will always be there for you regardless if no one else isnt, He is loving and forgiving, and only He can bring true inner happiness.
