REALLY slow? Its lightning fast for me o_o

I run Maxthon (I prefer the way it functions, looks, and feels) and it loads pages at a decent speed but when I ran Chrome everything popped up at once within half a second of clicking a link.

Yes, all of my friends who once used IE or Firefox now have switched to Chrome, It's everywhere in the Media and It's my preffered browser; Good Extensions, un-cluttered with "toolbars" (With IE you could have the Address Bar, the Google Toolbar, the Yahoo Toolbar etc, cluttering up half the screen and taking the browser to a snail's pace, with Chrome, just one bar for all of that, and if you really need it, Extensions!)

I just think people are scared of changing their web-browsers, one of my friends was like that, his dad kept saying to him "IE and Mozilla are the best, don't change", at last he did, to Chrome, he never went back. People just need to shop around for the best! Personally, I have Chrome as my main and Safari as my backup browser, I only have IE9 on my computer because it's hard to delete!

The number of people who buy computers and barely know how to use them greatly outnumbers those who buy computers and care about what browser they use and know why.

IE holds 80% of the internet browser market even with firefox out. Google may make an impact... but I'm going to guess it won't be a very big one.

People are lazy. I've had Firefox before, it's better but after my computer had it's memory wiped I never wanted to take the time to re-install it.

Not in the foreseeable future, and cetainly not while Microsoft products continue to dominate the home and business PC retail markets.

That said, Firefox will continue to capture market share, as it has for the past few years.

Chrome is REALLY slow - and I don't seem to be the only one noticing this.

Firefox sucks bigtime. Netscape was awesome, but its descendant is a piece of crap - once I run Firefox, I have to restart my computer before doing anything else because it makes every other application I run after it bogged-down and slow. Even simple things, like wordprocessors. Yea, I had it looked at - nothing to be done, it's just the nature of the beast - it sucks!

So, until somebody develops something that works well....
