First of all, I would ask that in the future you clarify your debate topic. One wonders...more dangersous to whom? I will argue under the assumption that you meant the world as a whole.

First of all, I will eliminate Osama Bin Laden. He does not lead a nation, or significantly large military. His power and influence is severely waning, and even at his most dangerous he was only able to kill 3000 people. (Yes, this is a horrific event, but not impressive on a global level).

Vladimir Putin must be eliminated. His power, if not his position, is intact, but his interests and intent, while not always viewed as honorable, are not overtly sinister or evil in nature.

Kim Jong Il is out. While he remains an insufferable tyrant, his desire to flex North Korea's military might seems to have subsided.

al-Bashir is gone too. While his leadership has proven fatal for tens of thousands of his own people, his influence outside of the borders of Sudan is nearly non-existant.

Now for those who've said Bush, I say "Get Real." While you may not agree with his politics or the war, you must admit, it's not like he invade Belgium or Japan or Australia. He set his sights on an evil dictator.

The MOST dangerous leader is handsdown Ahmadinejad. His brand of leadership is tyranny; his brand of religious extremism is deadly, and his use of the world political stage is sinister.

Ahmadinejad denies the holocaust while calling for another. He controls one of the largest militaries in the world. He calls for the wholesale destruction of Israel and the genocide of its people. His country is the number one sponsor of Islamist terrorism.

Ahmadinejad's Iran bans criticism of the government and its leaders. Blogging can bring the death penalty. At a recent speech in the US Ahmadinejad claimed that Iran "had no homosexuals", perhaps because its a crime that brings death.

Iran continues to ignore UN resolutions by pursuing nuclear technology, while at the same time it flaunts the testing of delivery systems such as last weekends rocket testing.

All in all, we are talking about a man who has promised his own people the wholesale destruction of another, and has shown the world the tools he will use to achieve it if not stopped.

Oh, and if that wasn't enough, he's a crappy dresser. One must assume that the very last shipment of Member's Only jackets went to Iran.

So, what president who had been in power for the last little while had caused 'unnecessary war'???

The only one to come to mind is that Clinton dude...you know, with his continuous bombing of Iraq. At least Bush is paying lip service to finishing up Clinton's mess!

Except that Clinton continuously bombed Iraq, without any attempt at getting troops on the ground to at least 'attempt' to restore order....

Between the two, the irrisponsible and impersonal bombing by Clinton caused more suffering among the Iraquis - but because US troops were not 'on the ground', the mainstream media did not bother to report much on it!

Just because you don't see the suffering, being daily beamed into your living room, does not mean it is not happening!

Don't get me wrong - I do NOT like what Bush is doing there. But, I 'did not like' what Clintod committed there even less...
