I do find the series extremely entertaining. Although, it is full of rare footage and photos of WWII, it doesn’t do much to invoke much thought or even a change of perspective. I have also noticed that it tends to show more triumphs of the war than some of the ugliness that it was saturated in. Of course, I have only seen about 60% of it, so my opinion could easily change. All in all, I do recommend the program. Music, sound, editing, interviews, etc. are flawless. More entertaining than informative, but if you are looking for something informative, turn off the TV and pick up a book.
