Is your sole objective in life to proclaim what Bush is?

In any political debate now, instead of presenting arguments about the topic, people have come to resort to Bush bashing. If all your argument is about Bush, than why are you commenting in this debate? Bush HAS NOTHING to do with the topic at all. Whether Bush is the savior of mankind or whether he is Satan in flesh makes NO difference in this debate at all. But keep the convinces because if you post comments about Bush you will get them regardless of your argument.

Mr. A has patently declared that he wishes "infedels" to die and denies the holocaust. Those two things alone prove the danger of this man and lack of any regard for human life. Whether he has nuclear weapons is a non-issue because he is dangerous in other aspects.

For people to not recognize the hate in any other man but the President, is to turn away from any kind of logic and repeat endless and mindless slanderings of an already unpopular ruler.

Again, what is the justification for the comparison to Bush?

The discussion is about Mr. A not about our President. We already know that Bush is unpopular. For any debate to succeed, more than one political figure has to be mentioned.

That post is 100% irrelevant. The discussion is about Mr. A, not President Bush.

Where are the jusfitications that Mr. A is "lovable" and good? If you can't provide those, you aren't contributing to the debate.

The only person that is slaughtering our troops in Iraq is Bush.

I guess you believe that Iran is supplying the insurgency in Iraq…I bet you also believed that Saddam had WMD’s…once a fool always a fool…

Saying that killing 200,000 people saved 200,000 people is idiotic

WE did not go to war with Iraq in 2003 because Saddam used gas in the 1980’s…Using that logic ANY country on the planet has the right to bomb the US because we dropped the A-Bomb…TWICE! With that type of logic, ANY country has the right to attack the US, even 20 years from now because of our invasion of Iraq…

How many innocent people died because of Saddam’s use of the United States WMD’s (gas)?
How many innocent people have died as the result on the US invasion of Iraq?

Bush has killed much more innocent people than Saddam; therefore the existence of GW Bush on this planet is far worse than the existence of Saddam Hussein.

WE went to War with Iraq because the United States public was lead to believe Saddam Hussein had WMD’s and was going to use them against the US. Not because of what he did in 1980.

The more you repeat that flawed logic, the more you reinforce the idea that the US should be punished for their crimes against humanity….and that doesn’t even include the United States’s torture camps.

I am not just blaming Bush, we are all to blame for allowing these atrocities to continue. I don’t believe we can continue killing and destroying peoples lives and homes for very long until we get a taste of our own medicine. The war in Iraq has done nothing but throw more fuel on the fire, and it is only a matter of time before we get burnt.

Yes he made those statements and they uphold the stereotype individual that has been described to Americans as a monster, terrorist, etc. I AM NOT SAYING THAT THE DESCRIPTION IS NOT TRUE, however, I find it curious that in a television interview, that was televised here in the USA, when asked to describe what he thought of Mr Bush, He did not call him names, nor did he describe him as a monster. Instead he invited the person interviewing him to explain what he and the American people liked about Mr. Bush and then gave his thoughts to that answer. Below is the verbal cut of the interview:

Ahmadinejad responds by asking what do Americans like about Bush. Pelley’s answer? Bush is a religious man.

“As an American citizen tell me what trait do you admire?” the president asked Pelley.

“Well Mr. Bush is without question a very religious man for example, as you are,” Pelley replied.

“What religion, please tell me, tells you as a follower of that religion to occupy another country and kill its people, please tell me, does Christianity tell its followers to do that?” Ahmadinejad asked.

A VERY GOOD observation and question. Would you care to answer it?

He's built nuclear weapons and has declared that he intends to use them against us!

don mega sited some of Mr A's quotes during his speaking engagements. I acknowledged that, and then stated I found the quote about Mr. Bush to be curious. Mr. Bush has stated that Mr A is a terrorist, a monster, etc.
I did not say I didn't agree.
I merely am pointing out, that the American public has been fed a description of Mr A, telling us all of his negatives. On the other hand when questioned, Mr A. did not stoop to call Mr Bush a terrorist or a monster. Yet I believe he and many other leaders and citizens in the Middle East to be the description of Mr Bush and Americans. Strange that rather than stoop to name calling, he would ask an American instead what he thought about Mr Bush. The reporter could only come up with, He's a religious man? What a ringing endorsement for the leader of our country. The problem is that Mr A had a great comeback, by questioning, not the reporters description but a question to explain, what religion condoned the actions of this man, the leader of our country.
NOW, one could say, that comment could be turned back on him siting, Jihad, but it wasn't.

So once again America made to look like the fool. AND he pulled it off smoothly, intelligently, with no protest!

I think the comparison to Mr Bush, is obvious. Unpopular is such a vanilla word.
I so like cBarts observations a whole lot more "The toilet is backing up on (him) and (his) murderous lot". ALL cBart's words except for him/his.

The following is sited in the National Geographic under news:
Please note they site there are 2 parts of Jihad listed in the Koran (Qur'an). So FYI:
http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2003/10/1023_031023_jihad.html

"Religiously, jihad is the expending of utmost effort in upholding and defending justice," said Sheikh Jaafar Idris, of the Saudi Arabian Embassy. Idris explained that he recognizes two kinds of jihad because there are two kinds of violations of justice: jihad with words against false beliefs, and jihad with the sword against acts of injustice. "The first is the basic and continuous jihad," Idris said. "It was mentioned in the Qur'an very early in the history of Islam and at a time when Muslims were weak and even persecuted. God said to His Prophet, 'Do not obey the kafireen (those who reject the truth) but wage jihad with it (the Qur'an) against them. [25:52]'"

Jihad of the Sword

But it is the jihad of the sword that has received the lion's share of global attention. The concept began when early Muslims were driven from their land by enemies, said Idris, and were first given permission and later ordered by God to fight those enemies. They were not, Idris stresses, given permission to fight non-believers or those who rejected the faith—only those who transgressed against them. Idris references the following verses: "God does not forbid you, regarding those (non-Muslims) who did not fight you because of your religion, and who did not drive you out of your land, that you be good to them and treat them justly. Allah only forbids you regarding those who fought you because of your religion and drove you out of your homes, and came to the help of those who drove you out, that you should befriend them. Any of you who befriend them (and be their allies) are transgressors. [60:8-9]" But even this kind of military jihad is not necessarily a clash of religions. It can also be waged against transgressors who are themselves Muslim.

Too bad the reporter didn't ask, instead he allowed Mr A to make America look like the fool once more.

However, along with other reasons, did we not also include, killing them for their religous beliefs, AND YES, I AGREE they are bad guys, (Sadaam, Leaders of AlQuada, fighting jihad) and driving their people out of their homes? (Millions of Iraq refugees)
No wonder they believe US to be the terrorists. IF we were Islamic citizens of Iraq and Iran maybe would see their position differently.
