I'm just gonna go out on a limb here (and hopefully not get slammed)...

but shouldn't every race be respected in such a way that no one says "you're acting too (insert race here)"

I am a person of African descent living in the US, I have been following Jessie Jackson since the late 60s when he was a revelant person with good ideas and a activist. The last 20 some odd years Jesse is a non-entity for most of us, he is labeled a leader by the mainstream media. Ever since Rev Dr MLK jr was assasinated he has been tramautized (can't blame him as he though he might be next) he has become a wuss spouting crapola and going for the $$$$ and the spotlight

He Sharpton and a few others need to retire and get out of the way....

I think people should be judged by the color of their clothes, not the color of their skin.

Take your time. We will just wait until you drift back into semi-conciousness to semi-explain what you meant with this last outburst.

Earth to Rhys!

Yes, and it is a shame that it doesn't seem to apply to Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton.
What is happeneing in Jena is wrong. It has NOT been equal justice for all there and unfortunately JJ and AS will probably cause more problems and make it 10 times worse than it already is.
Already there are busloads of people from all over heading that way to protest. AND I am sure the good old boys and the KKK will be arriving to protest on their side.
Another reason about to erupt to make Americans once again shamed before the world. Of course ALL of the media will be there for the fair and balanced reporting.

You'd think that...
However, judging people by the content of their character is clearly out of the question.
