Darwin named a phenomenon; he didn't create it. This is like saying that Newton is to blame when I fall down.

I suppose this is here to inquire whether or not people believe that the Nazis were attempting to demonstrate that they were the fittest. I do not believe that they were Darwin's fault.
They were a nation's fault. They were Hitlers fault. Hitler was brilliant, he was a calculating and cunning man with a great amount of charisma and speaking ability. He also came into power and solved a lot of his nation's problems, unemployment, the recession, the deficit and all of these made them more malleable. Then of course there was the gestapo. Really he used his cunning and brilliance to soften them up and then control them with fear. He was a military mind and loved serving while in WWI in which he served as a runner. He had everything you look for in a leader and more, it was that more that was the problem. People didn't speak up because it they did they paid for it. He inspired people and rewarded those that went along, punished those who didn't.
So the Nazis were a mix of the people and their leader. Complacency and fear led by a charismatic and fearsome man.

More likely to be Nitchzes' fault and even then I think the other factors involved were more prevelant.

You obviously have not read any of my debates or arguments. I think that the Nazis were vile and evil, a profanity upon this earth but what people tend to discount is that Hitler was an incredible mind. He knew how to manipulate the populace. We also take into account that it is human nature to behave complacently in situations such as was presented (there were exceptions) he ruled with fear and charisma.
I believe in peoples rights to be respected for who they are. I believe in judging a person by who they are, by their actions, words, and who they are as an individual not by their nationality, sex, religion, sexual orientation. My point was that the Nazis were the combined fault of the people (for example, America and their complacency-the problem is over seas so it isn't my problem) and their leader (for example Bush, not that he is as evil as Hitler but he is hated by his people who do nothing) These things do happen and people want someone to blame. The people of Germany could have stopped Hitler but they didn't. They followed him or they just let him.
