Just knowing how huge the universe is makes me think, there must be another being out there.

It would be insane to think that we are the only beings in the universe. It's a pretty big place.

*cough* sorry accidently posted it on the other side. * I agree. I think the universive is massive, we don't know the exact size nor will we ever and i believe that if its possible for us to live and breed and eat and sh*t and walk then why can't there people other species out there?

With a seemingly endless universe, there is certainly life of some sort on other planets. Only a religious fanatic of some sort would be foolish enough to think that the Earth is the end-all and be-all of existance in the universe or multiverse. And this question goes out to those type people: Wouldn't God be an alien?

And to anyone not yet convinced, as an American I can safely say that there are plenty of aliens around. Mostly in kitchens and construction sites.

I am taking the safe bet here. It is impossible to prove wrong.

Anyone who doesn't believe there is alien life out there is extremely small minded. If it is possible, and the universe is infinite, it is guaranteed to have happened elsewhere.

We live on earth, third rock from the sun. Okay around us
revolving in their orbits are other planets and our beloved sun.
Now this is just the milky way, of which are thousands of others
of the like...we call them galaxies. And revolving around all
these galaxies, is a universe, our universe. I'm pretty sure
there is more than one universe out there? May be a parallel
one? a fourth dimension? Something else, larger than a universe,
something at the other end of the black hole?

What I'm trying to get as is this: Earth is a spec in all this,
amid all of the unseen and undiscovered, earth is a spec. There
has to be life out there, somewhere, encompassing at least one
other planet, in one other galaxy, of one other univ4rse out
there. I mean, if there isn't then what is all this created for?
I dont think humans are the only living creatures in all of
existence,, in all the universes combined...it cannot be. All of
this was created for a reason, God created it (or for all you
evolutionists out there) science created it, and humans although
are I believe the most significant creatures, tere are others out
there, other races roaming around on another planet unheard, and
I believe there are other races roaming around the earth, that we
cannot see. I believe ghosts, angels, and demons, all live with
us here on earth, sometimes we might cross faces with them, at
least the ghosts anyway, but these are not humans, so I believe
they fall under alien.

I believe that humanity is on the verge of discovering something
great. On the verge of discovering another alieb life form, far
off in a distant galaxy. Give it a decade at the most.
Scientists recently discovered that mars has at some point in
time changed its orbit direction of travel for a day, then
switched back to its regular route. They explained that when
this happened " the sun rose from the West " on Mars. They
added, all the planets of our galaxy, of the milky way will go
through this "one-day direction change", and the sun will appear
to rise from the opposite direction, ( from the west rather than
the east ) if you were standing on the ground of that planet and
looking up at the sky that is. When this happens on earth, I
think that is when we will discover something great. Life is one
discovery after the other. We once thought the world was flat,
now we know its three dimensional, we once thought the world was
three dimensional, now...or soon...things might change? History
is a pattern.

I dont think that earth has the only forms of intelligent life in the universe. It is true that there is no concrete evedeince of extraterrestial life but how can you explain all of the UFO sightings that have been recorded? Some of those claims are more than liklely false but there has got to be at least 1 that is credibe?

Well, aliens do exist in theory but saying that they exist just because it is probable is slightly fallacious. Quantum thinking would say that aliens both exist and don't exist and the probability wave does not collapse until we either A) Find an Alien or B) Explore the entire universe. Aliens don't exist as a reality because we haven't found one yet. Aliens reside in the half existence of the Quantum Wave.

That's your opinion, based on a pit you have against those types of people, and should be disregarded logically.

If the theory of evolution is correct then we should assume that aliens exist. However, as evolution is a big crock there's no reason to believe aliens exist.

Most of you i think have been on ghost things, where most say "seeing is believing" Im not for ghosts, since i havent seen any, but maybe ill believe in aliens if they visited.

Ever wonder why aliens have to be ADVANCED? Why cant they be cavemen? and then we can take over. :D

Technically, the Universe doesn't revolve around the galaxies, it just contains them. As to whether there are parallel universes, that's an interesting topic. Some scientists have theorized that there may be an infinite space in the fifth dimension (or above) where all universes are created. I forget the actual term they use, but it's effectively a five-dimensional "sea" where universes are spawned in randomly-placed Big Bangs.

I would like to see an article on the Mars orbit change. As far as I know, that's not possible, especially for one day. Plus, the orbit direction wouldn't have an effect on the Sun's rising, but the rotating direction would. Also, nothing occurs in one day when you're talking about the universe. Even an "instantaneous" supernova takes weeks to get from the inside to the outside of a star. If Mars were to change its rotational direction, it would take a massive impact, one that would probably bust the planet into pieces rather than changing the rotational direction. To change the orbital direction would take an even larger impact, and it would have to take place almost exactly along the line of orbit. I'd say it's impossible.
