i think a 400% increase in national debt is a pretty negative impact.

i can't wait to get in the workforce so i can start helping to dig myself out of a hole i never wanted to be put in in the first place.

The image of the country is screwed internationally.

The national debt has reached ridiculous proportions.

The American people have been severely dumbed down by Bush's media policy (not to mention educational policies).

And the failing two party system has had nearly all of its flaws exsposed by hairy legislation and weak debates.

Are you seriously going to accuse me of believing in fairy playgrounds and mythical debts and then finnish with a half wit prayer to an imaginary god.

You're a joke.

So that's why more and more people are voting liberal.

I would say Bush's impact on the US has been more positive than negative. The only two examples of negative impact the other side has cited are Iraq and the national debt.

Iraq hasn't had any impact on most Americans. Granted thousands of soldiers have died, but we can't possibly know how many US civilians may have been killed if we hadn't gone to war and created a fighting target for the Arab terrorists. I tend to believe (and everyone's entitled to their own opinion on this), that many civilians have been saved. It's hard to say that the government wasted more money in Iraq than it wastes every year on every other program it has, so that's a no-impact.

The national debt as a percentage of GDP is probably average or a little higher. I would like it if it were lower, but the higher national debt probably hasn't hurt the US as much as the strong economy has helped in the past 7 years.

Can you honestly say that your life is worse now than it was 7 years ago? I imagine for most US citizens, life is better now than in 2000.

Think about what has happend over the past seven years. First Bush was handed the largest terrior act ever in the world. then the stockmarket crashed. It's been a long hard seven years but he has moved us out of harms way and taken the market to new highths.the tuff part of all is that alot of good people men and weman have lost thier lives. I know, my nefew was one of the first. it has been very hard to listen to the bleeding harts that haven't sacrificed any thing but alittle inconvinance. or some politcale interprizer use all of our ill feels. back off the president. GEORGE W. BUSH will go down in history as a leader with resolve and if your thinking he is following in his fathers footsteps he has had to make much harder decisions.do we want the world to be issolated from hthe US. no the world is everybodys

Where did you come by that wonderful rendition of Chicken Little screaming "the sky is falling!!!" ?

Since when does any mature adult care one fig about our international "image"?

The American people are not "dumbed down" by their President. It's an utterly ridiculous notion.

Our political system is not a fairy playland. It really does stink and it really does work. You just don't get it. (yet)

Just like you don't "get" the mythical and non-existent "national debt".

You are still in our prayers
