Football is a dangerous sport. PERIOD. The
chances of going to the NFL are as slim as getting
a scholar ship to Harvard in Academics. Its
actually much less.

Most college football players will never make
it to the NFL and still deal with as many injury's
and as much brain damage.

After they spend there college not worrying
about academics, or a future in engineering, they
are only thinking about the pros.

When they don't make it, most of them have no
future, and no brain. College football is still a
highly watched program, shouldn't we give them the
money they have spent working for?

Someone please pick up this debate quick, I
want to hear what the other sides views are.

There are a few problems with your logic.

1. Should High School players get paid as well? If
not..why? The sport is dangerous and poses some of
the same risks.

2. Who would fund this? The school itself?

3. Would you NOT be paying players of other
dangerous sports in that school? How would you
explain that logic?

I think you are over playing the injury rate of
college level injuries. I am not talking about
minor injuries..but head trauma and loss of life.
You might want to look up the statistics on that.
