people have all sorts of different opinions its
not really mattered in life though people are so
stubborn now a days that they will stick to what
they want to say or there opinions in a situation
nno matter what no one gets persuaded so its
useless wasting your time debating

There is a reason to debate

Although the two debaters might never change their
opinions, not that this is impossible, other
people following the debate who are less certain
of their position might form opinions of their
own.

Another good reason to debate is that it
challenges both sides of the argument and helps
both parties to expand on their beliefs.

Well, until cutiepieballer responds to my previous
post here are some more reasons that debating is
worthwhile.

1. People need to see opposing viewpoints in the
same context rather than in a context, such as a
book, created by only one side.

2. Debates help to uncover flaws in theories that
would not be noticed if unquestioned.

3. New ideas can be tested against standing ones.

4. People want to prove their ideas to be correct
through debates.

5. There is a rich history of debating in all
intellectual fields.

6. Debating stimulates the mind.

7. Debates can be entertaining to watch (or read).

First off, use punctuation. I can barely
understand you.

You think people should not share their ideas or
opinions because that causes disareements and
conflict. That's a fair proposition, but the
world it would lead to would not be an
intellectually healthy one. To start with it
would be much harder to determine what is true and
what is not if no opinions were ever compared.
Secondly the intellectual stimulation and
developement out of ideas I mentioned would never
take place, leading to intellectual stagnation.
Perhaps your version of the debate-free world
would feel a little bit nicer, but it would be a
world based on a bad intellectual landscape, which
would turn out worse in the long run.
