If there was no God, the 399 millionth sperm would have gone in instead of you and you would not exist. I will now call who I call God as you would probably be able to accept him as, A Superior Being. This superior being has and will continue to bring selected humans to earth and you will never be able to question him. It is proven by scientist that millions of years ago the moon was to close to the earth making it impossible for life to exist, but then (as scientist have confirmed) the cosmic energies forced it to move to the position in which it is in and then life began. Was it coincidence? Was it not a Supreme Superior Being who commanded this to occur for life to begin microscopically, but then in the 6th day HE, the Great Architect, That Supreme Being would create MAN, what you are and cannot deny to be superior to all the creations on earth. The order that exist in earth (the cycles that are not by accident, for who tells a bird to fly south for winter?) and the order of the cosmos (universe) are not by accident, for if it were when a hurricane or earthquake would occur, the effects would be irreversible. But no, it is commanded by a supreme superior being who I call God. Creation (including you) are not bastards. Creation has a father who is the supreme superior being called GOD. We are debating on the existence of God. The fact, as you agree with me, that nothing occurs by accident and that everything has an order contradicts that a "big bang" can create random constellations and a specific planet called earth with a sun at a specific distance along with the moon, which supports life, and we are in it and have the ability to reason.

I believe in a Supreme Superior Being called God. It is not the Buddhist, Islamic, or some a god that some make to convenience. My God is a God who is just and pure and has the qualities. My God is the creator of everything. How can I prove it?

I also agree with the argument placed by yisrael and adaniel, I also agree that "Defintuition*" should calm down. He just got on to the debate and he is already throwing rocks at people. What you say here is ``evidence`` I think is actually a belief. The universe yes, is drivin by laws which govern energies but these laws are (in the matters of space and the universe) mostly theories. Even if they were proven to be true they are the product of physics models and other mathematical calculations. I am willing to be convinced if you can prove to me that ``the cosmos`` are ``the living testimony`` that there is AN architect to everything.

The reason for life on earth is that when the big bang happened, chunks of matter (rock, ice, junk like that etc..) clumped together forming the earth. The earth began to rotate (orbit) around the new sun at a distance that allowed the temperature on earth was not to cold for water to freeze solid and not to hot that the water simply evaporates off the surface. Therefore life began in the water in the form of small microorganisms. These microorganisms grew and adapted to their surroundings, (more resistant to heat in hot areas, more resistant to cold in cold areas, different body parts to function to effectively eat, move, live) eventually they evolved to the point where they left the water and crawled onto land. Evolution is proven on many occasions one for instance, why do we have tailbones and snakes have pelvises. The moon was not too close to the earth to sustain life thats simply false and in my research I could not on one instance find any information on that ever occuring. Anyways this is off topic. This argument is very hard to solve because it is based on religion which is a belief. Yes some science may support religion but having God as a sole creator for everything in the universe is not one of them. You are correct nothing happens by accident but the birds fly south because there is significantly less food in a cold northern climate during the winter than there is in the south. Birds being intelligent beings have evoloved in such a way that they realize (maybe not realize but act by instinct) that food is south. Just as wolves are born with the instinct to kill for food and moose are born with the instinct to eat grass. I personally cannot credit The Bible as a credible source. I DO NOT BY ANY MEANS MEAN ANY DISRESPECT TO YOUR RELIGION. I find there are too many unexplained and botched subjects in it. Again, nothing happens randomly, it all very explainable using science.
The universe is different than a car in the sense that it does not need any (entity) to control it. It is simply governed by the laws of physics. Gravity, velocity and other scientific phenomena are what ``rules`` the universe.
Also, somebody at some point questioned The Bible and said, ``God said he created man and everything else on the earth in 7 days, but thats not possible`` which is what you said I would ask. But then, some religious figure said ``hmmm ok so it wasn`t in 7 days but some immeasurable amount of time we will now call ``Days of God``. My point with this is this is one of the many botches and quick fixed that are no less ambiguous than the early stages of the big bang theory*. A simple question that I do not wish to offend with but my opinion would be that there is no difference between the God that you see and the one (or many) that any other religion sees. The problem with your first sentence is that it is inevitable that in time science will be able to explain what happened during ``planck time`` and before that, we already have theories, experimentation is already underway to prove these theories. No theory is ever proven true without rigorous testing and analysis. Something can`t simply be accepted blindly without having any proof whatsoever. I understand where you are coming from, but regardless what you and I debate, we are the same in the opposite ways. You believe that there was a Superior Architect to the universe and all its contents, which I respect. I believe the opposite that science can explain everything (in time) and neither of us will be convinced of the opposite regardless of the rebuttle we come up with

we cannot know if god does or doesn't exist. Since we are only aware of one truly alive being (yourself) we cannot begin to think of a "higher being". Plus how do you know whether you are conciecnce or if life is a dream?
